The Progressive Animal Collaboration Team (PACT) is the brainchild of Greater Houston-area animal welfare professionals who have joined together to form a non-profit organization to create a collaboration between municipal animal shelters, together with the goal of saving the lives of homeless pets across the Greater Houston-area. We believe by harvesting the collaboration and out of the box thinking will ultimately bring the animal welfare community and the citizens in our community together for a greater lifesaving impact.
Our mission and vision is to raise awareness and bring the community together by supporting the
Greater Houston-area municipal shelters with working to align policies and procedures, creating a centralized marketing/media outreach plan, hosting mega adoption events with hopes to roll out
mega spay/neuter and wellness services while partnering with other organizations.
These events will take a great deal of support from our community members and the support of our animal welfare community. By working together as a team we can progress our community to be a better animal community.
The founding members of the organization are Aaron Johnson, Barbara Vass, Rene Vasquez, Michael White DVM, Mark Wysocki and Courtney Gawel.
